directions

The JP Recovery Center at 120 South Street is easily accessible by public transit — it's just a short walk from Forest Hills Station, one of the MBTA's most connected hubs. Forest Hills serves the Orange Line and three Commuter Rail lines — the Needham, Providence/Stoughton, and Franklin/Foxboro lines — and is a major stop for many MBTA bus routes.

The Orange Line runs northward through Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, downtown Boston, and all the way to Oak Grove in Malden, while the commuter rail lines connect riders coming from communities including Needham, Providence, Stoughton, Franklin, and Foxboro. Whether you're coming from the city, the suburbs south of Boston, or a nearby neighborhood, Forest Hills puts you within easy walking distance of 120 South Street.

For university students: The center is especially convenient if you're a student at one of Boston's many colleges. Northeastern University is reachable directly via the Orange Line, just a few stops north at Ruggles Station. You can also connect to the Green Line E, which serves the Northeastern University stop on Huntington Avenue. Students at Roxbury Community College and Bunker Hill Community College are also on or near the Orange Line corridor. Tufts Medical Center campus is accessible via the Orange Line as well.
